New Micro-Electronics Clean Room

Micro-Electronics Clean Room Facility

Local and state governments invest about $100 million to build a micro-electronics clean room facility at the BRIDG center for advanced manufacturing research near Kissimmee, Florida. The facility is equipped with etchers, lasers, cleaners and printers for the manufacturing of semiconductors from silicon wafers. The new micro-electronics clean room facility will bring a new wave of high paying jobs to the local economy and will pave the road for future innovation in the semiconductor industry for Kissimmee, Florida.

Officially in its brand new 109,000 sq ft micro-electronics clean room facility, BRIDG inspires and forges tomorrow’s emerging technologies. Including approximately 40,000 square feet of cleanroom laboratory/manufacturing space, this home to the BRIDG team allows for continued coordination with Osceola County, Florida, and the University of Central Florida (UCF) as final construction details are completed.

Designed as one of the world’s most flexible and adaptable fabs, BRIDG has space to accommodate a variety of partner-funded activities.
