Lee’s Summit, MO, April 17, 2018 — Millennium International recently announced that it has completed the implementation of a Class 100 clean room, sized at 1,050 square feet. The new ISO Class 100 Clean Room expansion resulted in an increased size from the existing 9,500 sq. ft. facility in Lee’s Summit, MO.

ISO Class 100 Clean Room for Aerospace Semiconductor Applications

A clean room is a controlled environment used in aerospace semiconductor engineering applications with low levels of environmental particulate and pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles, and chemical vapors. With the new clean room, Millennium International now has the enhanced capability to conduct extensive tab bonding and repair, bonded glass repair and replacement, filter glass, polarizer and diffuser repair and replacement, and complete LCD repair.

Additional capabilities include: Back light repair and replacement, complete vertical integration to support repair of LCD primary flight displays, standby displays CDU, and MCDU displays.

“We are pleased with the addition of a Class 100 clean room to our facility. This clean room allows us to offer expanded capabilities related to custom ruggedized LCD solutions for commercial, corporate and military aerospace applications. This room ensures that repairs of all the units we work on are handled in a controlled environment and reduces the chance of contamination due to dust and particle complications,”
